Hellllooooo teacher friends! Yep - I'm still alive. ;)
I am joining Miss DeCarbo at Sugar and Spice for her fun linky party: Wordless Wednesday!
We frequently use a partner talk strategy called, "Stand Up, Hand Up, Pair Up," but sometimes we need to do something different to change things up a bit. In comes "Parallel Lines."
Partners discuss the topic, then one line stands and bumps down one person. Ta-da! They have a new partner to discuss with just like that! (Tip - I often give the kids a fidget or small ball to show whose turn it is to talk. That definitely helps.)
What other strategies do you use for partner talks?
Thanks for stopping by! :)
